Purpose of Data Processing
The data provided will be processed by the competent provincial staff, including in electronic form, for institutional purposes related to the administrative procedure for which the data were submitted, pursuant to Provincial Law No. 12 of 22 December 2005. The person responsible for the data processing is the acting Director of the Department of Economic Development at their office. Providing the data is essential for carrying out the requested administrative tasks. If the data are not provided, applications and requests cannot be processed.

Disclosure and Recipients of the Data
The data may be disclosed to the following public and/or private entities to fulfill legal obligations related to their institutional responsibilities, where this is directly related to the initiated administrative procedure: Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Government Commissioner’s Office, and other local, national, and European public bodies or institutions, in-house companies, or support bodies of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. The data may also be communicated to other entities that provide services related to the maintenance and management of the Province's IT systems and/or institutional website, including via cloud computing. The cloud provider Microsoft Italy GmbH, as service provider for the Office365 suite, has contractually committed not to transfer personal data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) without providing the appropriate safeguards required by Chapter V of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. These entities act either as external data processors or, where applicable, as independent data controllers.

Data Transfers
No transfers of personal data to non-EU countries are envisaged.

Disclosure of Data
If the dissemination of data is necessary in order to comply with specific legal obligations, the safeguards provided for by applicable data protection laws to protect the rights of the data subject shall remain unaffected.

Data Retention
The data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill legal obligations in the fields of taxation, accounting, and administration — generally for up to 10 years, in accordance with the so-called “Document Disposal Guidelines.”

Automated Decision-Making
The processing of personal data does not involve any automated decision-making.

Rights of the Data Subject
In accordance with applicable law, the data subject has the right to access their data at any time and may request the rectification or completion of incorrect or incomplete data. If the legal conditions are met, they may also object to the processing or request the deletion or restriction of the processing. In the latter case, such personal data may only be processed — aside from storage — with the consent of the data subject, for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest. The relevant request form is available on the official website of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol under the section Transparent Administration > Other Content > Additional Information.

Remedies
If the data subject does not receive a response within 30 days of submitting a request — a period that may be extended by an additional 60 days in complex cases or where a large number of requests have been submitted — they may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or file a legal claim.
